Tory Burch now makes you pretty Tory Burch at The Forum Shops has got it goin’ on. Not only did the powerhouse women’s fashion brand launch a chic new line of beauty products and makeup, but its own fragrance ($62-$110) as well, which smells intoxicatingly amazing. (Adding to my Christmas wish list now.) Look for the boutique to triple in size when it moves to its new location across from Carmine’s early next year.
There’s a new watering hole for whisky lovers Giddy up—The Piano Bar at Harrah’s has turned in to the Jack Daniel’s Saloon. The change began last weekend when Professional Bull Riders was in town, and the Saloon will remain through National Finals Rodeo Dec. 5-14. Look for drink specials such as $7 Gentleman Jack and a $10 beer and shot combo. Yeehaw!
Impersonations are cool The amazing Véronic DiCaire is a woman of one hundred voices. The Bally’s headliner, who recently added new show dates into next year for “Véronic Voices,” recently performed on “The View” and wowed host Jenny McCarthy. We just can’t get over her dead-on Celine Dion impression…take a look.
Order up new flavors at Central Central Michel Richard at Caesars Palace is now offering several seasonal dishes, including Atlantic crisp-seared salmon with root vegetables and butternut squash sauce, and beef short ribs with creamy polenta and steamed carrots drizzled with Syrah sauce. If real food is not your thing, go straight for pure indulgence with the apple tatin pastry dessert featuring a poached apple marinated in caramel sauce and butter, and its two new delicious libations, the Southern Highlander and Rome’s Revenge.
Get ready for action-packed game time at The Quad The Linq’s hip next door neighbor, The Quad, is set to open a new Race & Sports Book on the casino floor on Nov. 7.
