Las Vegas tends to think outside the box when it comes to, well, everything—including raising money for charity. Boring, stuffy fundraiser? Never. Rappelling down the side of a monstrous Strip casino? Yes please!

From Oct. 11-12, Vegas’ one-of-a-kind event, “Over the Edge,” lets dare devils and thrill seekers get a rare, vertical view of the Strip in exchange for funds benefitting Special Olympics Nevada. For a minimum $1,000 donation, anyone can sign up to rappel 350 feet off Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The hotel is even offering a special $69 room rate on the registration page.

All the equipment is provided and on-site experts will train participants on instructions and safety before, ahem, taking the plunge. It’s just crazy enough that all the cool kids are doing it—even The Quad headliner Jeff Civillico. Your face alone will be priceless, but so will the photos.
