Talk about a “lightning Rod!” “Forever Young” rocker and music legend Rod Stewart announced nine additional shows of his powerhouse “Rod Stewart: The Hits” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The new spring performances run from April 30 through May 17, so get ready to snap up your tickets, as they go on sale Saturday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m.
April: 30
May: 2, 3, 6, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17
The best part for fans who’ve already seen Stewart’s record-breaking show—which recently wrapped the first run of his extended residency and plays through Nov. 24—is its latest revamp. The cheeky Brit added in new songs from his first all-new album in almost 20 years, Time, that features his return to songwriting and 11 original songs. He debuted the revamped show on Nov. 6, with a more state-of-the-art stage and a new duet—his daughter Ruby now joins him on stage for “Forever Young.” New material joins classic favorites such as “Maggie May,” “Tonight’s the Night” and “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?”
Said Stewart about the extension: “I could play here forever. It’s intimate so the fans all get great seats and loads even join me on stage, which is a total blast – plus they treat me like I’m Elvis.”
