LOUIS XIII is one of the most top-shelf cognacs in the world, renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship, lengthy creation process and smooth taste. But you don’t have to be a cognac enthusiast to appreciate the latest spectacle at Caesars Palace: an ultra-rare, 100-year-old tierçon used to make LOUIS XIII. Now on display through December 15 next to Apostrophe Bar, the barrel is made of Limousin oak, which has the perfect tannins and porosity for the ageing of the eau de vie.

In making the cognac, these tierçons are reused by many generations of The House of Remy Martin cellar masters. Encased in a Baccarat crystal decanter, the famous spirit takes four generations of cellar masters more than 100 years to craft—largely thanks to the tierçon barrels. Even more reason to save it for special occasions, like celebrations in Las Vegas.

Before this initial public display, the tierçon was never, ever seen in public—only by invited guests at The House of Remy Martin in Cognac, France’s Grande Champagne territory. For the first time in history, a tierçon has been removed from the cellar, on display for the thousands of guests who travel to Sin City every month.

“Caesars Palace was opened to grant people a taste of the good life, that is essentially what LOUIS XIII is all about,” says LOUIS XIII’s Pierre-Antoine Bollet. “It is an honor for LOUIS XIII to share this very rare and precious tierçon with Caesars’ most discerning guests, who can order LOUIS XIII at several venues within the property.”

The interactive iPad displayed along with the barrel lists the Caesars Palace venues where you can order all the LOUIS XIII you want. But if you just need the list as a mental note for your next Las Vegas vacation, here are those spots:
