As Billy Idol would say, it’s a nice day for a white wedding. Couples looking for an especially memorable wedding day are gearing up for Nov. 12, 2013 (or 11-12-13), one of the last two date lineups of its kind to happen this century.
Just in time for the landmark occasion, the Flamingo Las Vegas’ Garden Chapel has undergone a complete remodel—extra fabulosity included. Its sophisticated, contemporary new look and feel is due to a color palette of gold, light pink and Flamingo pink with tan undertones, new draping, shimmering design elements, and of course, a timeless Vegas touch thanks to a crowning chandelier. Splashes of florals, wide columns and an altar full of lit candles with crystal accent wrapping give off a romantic and peaceful ambiance. Our favorite part, aside from new customization of photo packages, flower colors and music? The new infinity sculpture, hanging as a representative beacon of past, present and future.
Even the bridal holding areas got a revamp, with posh champagne-colored chairs and new interior design (think gold and pink accent floral walls), so she can sip champagne before taking the plunge. And because Las Vegas is the biggest international wedding destination in the world, the hotel offers ceremonies in several languages, and a variety of impersonators can be booked to spice up tradition.
Several other chapels around town, including Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and The Quad, are doing specials and extra incentives for the landmark date, so as newlywed Kelly Clarkson would say: “tie it up.”
And just because it’s pretty…an image of the intricate ceiling art and sparkling chandeliers at Paris Las Vegas’ Chapelle du Paradis chapel.
